Panasonic Toughbook 19 Updated Specifications with Core i5

Panasonic today announced upgrades to its Toughbook 19 convertible rugged tablet PC, adding increased processor speeds, Gobi2000 mobile broadband and WiMAX, the upgraded Toughbook 19 goes beyond the MIL-STD-810G/ IP65 certification with the ability to withstand a six-foot drop.

The Panasonic Toughbook 19 has feature a 1.2GHz Intel Core i5-540UM processor with Intel Turbo Boost Technology with speeds up to 2.0GHz, a 10.4-inch LED backlit touchscreen display, a 160GB SATA hard drive, an optional 128GB solid state drive, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR, optional Gobi, WiMAX, up to 9 hours of battery life, two USb ports, webcam, GPS receiver, backlit spill-resistant keyboard, SmartCard reader, Fingerprint reader, and Windows 7 Professional.

The Panasonic Toughbook 19 is available now, starting at $3,399.
