Toshiba today announced the Satellite C660 and Satellite Pro C660 laptops. The Satellite C660 is an everyday machine while the Satellite Pro C660 is targeted at professional users.
The Satellite C660 and Satellite Pro C660 are powered by an Intel Core i3, Intel Pentium, Intel Celeron, AMD Athlon II Dual Core or AMD V series processor, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 640GB of storage space, and integrated graphics.
Both laptops have 15.6-inch TruBrite LED HD display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, optional Bluetooth, multi-format card reader, Ethernet, DVD Super Multi optical drive, stereo speakers, a VGA webcam, and a multi-gesture touchpad.
The Satellite Pro C660 comes with Windows 7 Professional, whereas the standard Satellite C660 runs Windows 7 Home Premium.
The Satellite C660 and the Satellite Pro C660 will be available early in the fourth quarter of 2010 throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.
