General Dynamics Itronix has just released a new fully-rugged mobile PCs, called the GD2000. The GD2000 provides the power, durability and mobility and designed for the most extreme work environments.

The GD2000 is boasts a 1.2GHz Intel Ultra Low Voltage Core Solo processor, 2GB of DDR3 system memory, 64GB or 128GB solid state drive, and up to 256 MB dynamically allocated graphics memory.

General Dynamics Itronix GD2000 is equipped with a 5.6-inch LED WSVGA sunlight-viewable DynaVue display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, a 77-key backlit keyboard, TPM support, four USB 2.0, Ethernet LAN, MicroDIMM expansion slot, and and an on-the-fly swapable Lithium-ion power pack with 6 hours of battery life. It is optional 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, Wireless WAN, GPS and 3G.

Dimensions of GD2000 are 45mm (H) x 168mm (W) x 122mm (D) and weight 2.4 lbs (1.11 kg) kg. The price of General Dynamics Itronix GD2000 is starting $4,900.
