Acer has updated version of Aspire One 522 and 722 netbooks with AMD’s C-60 accelerated processing unit. This AMD C-60 APU has two 1GHz x86 cores (1.33 GHz in Turbo Core) and integrated Radeon HD 6290 graphics (276-400 MHz).
The Acer Aspire One 522 netbook pack a 10.1-inch LED-backli display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 1GB of RAM, while the Aspire One 722 has a 11.6-inch LED-backlit display with 1366×768 resolution and 2GB of memory.
The Acer Aspire One 522 and 722 netbooks are features a 320GB hard drive, a 5-in-1 card reader, a 0.3-megapixel webcam, 10/100 LAN, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a multi-touch trackpad, a HDMI output, and a 6-cell battery.
Cost of Acer Aspire One 522 and 722 netbooks are available at $279 and €349, respectively.
