NEC ShieldPRO N22G rugged laptop in Japan

The Japanese Company, NEC has just announced its latest rugged laptop PC, called the ShieldPRO N22G. This rugged laptop is capable to withstand drops from 90cm high, vibration, Impact, waterproof, and dustproof.

The NEC ShieldPRO N22G rugged laptop is powered by a 1.33GHz Intel Core i7-660UE dual-core processor, an Intel QM57 chipset, 4GB memory, a 100GB or 160GB HDD with an optional 32GB SSD, and integrated Intel HD Graphics.

NEC ShieldPRO N22G is also packs a 12.1-inch back-lit LCD touchscreen display with 1024 x 768 resolution, SD Slot, PCMCIA, three USB ports, FireWire, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, and a battery life of 12 hours.

Size of ShieldPRO N22G rugged laptop is 290 x 255 x 47mm and weighs about 2.7kg.
