HP shows off a Classmate PC netbook for students at Computex 2010 in Taipei. The netbook features a 10-inch display and an Intel Atom processor. It is equipped with a grey-colored chiclet keyboard, mic and headphone jacks, a flash card reader, Ethernet jack, VGA port, and 2 USB ports and running SuSE Linux 11 OS.

The Asus Eee PC 1015PN powered by Next generation ION (N11M-PT1, 512MB VRAM) graphics and Optimus for saving on battery life, Intel Atom N475 processor, 1GB DDR3 of RAM (max 2GB), 250GB / 320GB of HDD and 10.1 inch 1024 x 600 display (matte).
The connectivity and Input/Output options of the Asus Eee PC 1015PN include an HDMI output, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, the netbook runs on a 6-Cell 56Wh battery or 6-Cell 48Wh battery. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter OS.
Pricing and availability are still unknown at the moment. Will be available in black, white or red.
