The Acer Aspire One AOD255 runs both Windows XP and Google Android as its operating system. You can use Acer Configuration Manager to choose which operating system will launch at startup.

The Acer Aspire One AOD255 netbook sports a 10.1-inch screen display, an Intel Atom D450 processor, 1 GB of RAM, a 160 GB hard drive, Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics, as well as a 3-cell lithium-ion battery, though a 6-cell battery will be available as an option.

Acer Aspire One AOD255 has started selling in Taiwan for NT$11,900 (around US$375).

Augen has recently introduced new 10 inch netbook, called the GenBOOK108. This netbook is running on Android 2.1. It has a 10.2 inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel, an 800MHz CPU, 256MB of memory, 2GB of flash storage, supports WiFi, SD/MMC card slot, and Lithium battery.

The CherryPal Asia introduced a $99 android netbook. This netbook will feature a 7-inch display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution, a VIA ARM9 533MHz processor, a 256MB RAM, a three USB 2.0 ports, a 2GB of flash storage, Google Android 1.6 OS.

CherryPal will also offer a larger version with a 10.1-inch display and 1.3 MP camera for $148.

The Acer Aspire One D260 will also dual-boot Google Android with Microsoft Windows operating systems. the Aspire One D260 and is said to be the successor to the D250 which was released last year, therefore it will probably boast better technical specifications then the D250’s Intel Atom N270 CPU, 160GB hard drive and 1GB of RAM.
