Acer has recently introduced its new ION 2 netbook at Computex 2010, called Acer Aspire One 532G. It is powered by 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 10.1-icnh 1024 x 600 display (glossy), and next generation ION graphics and Optimus for saving on battery life.
Acer Aspire One 532G netbook is packs Wi-Fi, WiMAX, Bluetooth 3.0 + HS and an optional 3G, a 6-cell 2400mAh battery with a 10-hour of battery life.
The Acer Aspire One 532G netbook supports a 10.1-inch LED Screen HD Acer CrystalBrite (1080 x 720), a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, an nVidia ION graphics and Optimus, 1GB/2GB DDR2 RAM, 160GB HDD. Its 6-cell 47Wh battery provides up to 8-hour of operation time and is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium.
Asus has showcased its new netbook with ION and Optimus at the Computex 2010, called ASUS EEE PC 1015N. It is powered by 1.6 GHz Atom N450 processor, an 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel, 1GB of memory, 250GB hard drive and hybrid graphics (ION 2 with Optimus). This netbook is equipped with three USB ports, VGA port, HDMI port, a 6 Cell battery, and pre-loaded with Windows 7 OS.
Asus Eee PC 1015N will be available in the next weeks for around $400-$430.
The ASUS 1215N is a netbook for both normal users and business professionals that is powered by 1.66GHz Intel Atom D510 dual-core Atom processor, an Nvidia Ion graphics solution with Optimus technology, an 12.1-inch LED-backlit 1366 x 768 LCD display, up to 2GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD, two USB 3.0 ports, LAN, HDMi output, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1.
ASUS has just announced a new model in its ASUS N82 laptop line, the ASUS N82JV-VX020V. Based on the Intel Calpella platform, the ASUS N82JV-VX020V features a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5-520M processor (up to 2.93GHz with Intel Turbo Boost technology).
The ASUS N82JV-VX020V is equipped with 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500GB of hard drive, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, a one USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, VGA, eSATA, an 8-in-1 card reader, 6-cell battery. It is pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium.
The ASUS N82JV-VX020V features a 14-inch display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels, driven by an nVidia GeForce GT 335M graphics with 1GB VRAM. It also includes nVidia Optimus technology, which harnesses the power of both discrete and integrated graphics to deliver the right amount of visual performance for the job at hand-thus extending battery life.
Asus is expected to launch a new netbook with an Intel Atom processor and NVIDIA ION graphics. It’s called the Eee PC 1201PN. The Asus Eee PC 1215N netbook will come with Intel dual-core Atom N500 processor, along with the next generation ION chip and Optimus technology, and 12.1-inch display. It is expected to launch in May or July.
The ASUS U30Jc is the first to combine a Core i3 processor with NVIDIA’s Optimus graphics switching and theoretically provides both performance and battery life at once. The ASUS U30Jc is powered by 2.26GHz Intel Core i3 processor, an nVidia GeForce 310M chipset, Altec Lansing speakers, a 4GB RAM, a 320GB hard drive, a 13-inch 1366 x 768 LED display, a 0.3 megapixel webcam, Wi-Fi and Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium.
