South African Linkbook 8.9-Inch Netbook with a PowerPC processor

South African has introduced a 8.9 inch mini-laptop called the Linkbook. The Linkbook is powered by a Freescale PowerPC processor, 256 MB of RAM, 16GB flash storage, and 8.9-inch TFT display with resolution of 1024×600 pixels.

It is equipped with a 3G modem, SIM card slot, Ethernet 2 USB ports, Wi-Fi, mic and headphone jacks and a camera.

It is preloaded with Link OS, which is based on Ubuntu Linux. The netbook is first being introduced in South Africa for just $190.
