Gateway has introduced the ID series laptops in Canada. The new lineup includes the 14-inch ID49, the 15.6-inch ID59 and the 17.3-inch ID79.
The ID49 and ID59 laptops feature the Core i3, i5 processors, 4GB of DDR3 RAM (expandable to 8GB), up to 640GB of hard disk space, and HD Ultrabright LED-backlit display.
The Gateway ID79 laptop has a LED-backlit display with resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels, an Intel Core i7 processor, 6GB of memory (up to 16GB), nVidia GeForce GT 330M discrete graphics card, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, a 1.3 megapixel camera, a card reader, HDMI port, and pre-loaded with Windows 7.
The systems weigh from 5.07lbs (ID49), 5.5lbs (ID59) and 7.16lbs (ID79).
The Gateway ID49 start at CAD $609.99, while the Gateway ID59 and Gateway ID79 start at CAD $699.99 and CAD $1049.99, respectively.
