The new Asus Eee PC 1015PEM is the first netbook in the United States to feature latest 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor. It can be purchased through online shopping portals like Amazon.com and other J&R.
The Asus Eee PC 1015PEM comes with a 250GB or 320GB hard drive, up to 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a 10.1-inch LED Backlight display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels, and runs Windows 7 Starter Edition OS.
There is also Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0, LAN, two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port, VGA port, a card reader, a built-in 0.3MP webcam, 6-cell 48Whr, 56Whr, or 63Whr Li-ion battery, and comes in three colors: red, blue, pink, black, or white colors.
The Eee PC 1015PEM-PU17 has a price tag of $379, while the Eee PC 1015PEM-MU17 with a lower capacity battery for $349.
