ASUS has launched the Republic of Gamers G53 and G73 laptops with GeForce GTX 460M graphics cards. The GeForce GTX 460M mobile graphics with boasting 192 CUDA Cores, 1.5GB of GDDR5 memory and supports DirectX 11. This also signifies the first time the GeForce GTX 460M has been put to use rendering 3D visuals, a key aspect of G53 and G73 gaming laptops.
The Asus ROG G53JW and G73JW is equipped with a Core i3, i5 or i7 processor, 16:9 displays (1,366 x 768 on the 15.6-inch G53 and up to 1,920 x 1,080 on the 17.3-inch G73), up to 4GB of RAM, up to 750GB of storage space, a DVD or Blu-ray drive, 8-in-1 card reader, a 2 megapixel webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 n WiFi, and an 8-cell (5200 mAh) battery
It weighs 3.6kg with its standard 8-cell (5200 mAh) battery, and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS preloaded.
