Acer Aspire S5 13.3-Inch Thinnest Ultrabook

Asus has announced the world’s thinnest ultrabook, called the Aspire S5. Its has an aluminum and magnesium chassis that just 15mm thick (0.59 inches) and weights less than 1.35 kg (about 3 lbs).

The new Acer Aspire S5 ultrabook is packs a 13.3-inch LCD display, a solid state drive, Dolby Home Theater audio technology, a chiclet keyboard, USB 3.0, HDMI, and Thunderbolt (20Gbps) ports.

The Acer Aspire S5 ultrabookis expected available in Q2 2012, and price tag will be between $1,000 to $1,300.
